Potam beach is said to have once been a flowing river (potam in Greek), hence the area bears this name.

Filikur beach is a small bay surrounded by high cliffs. It is located between the beach of Potam and Llaman. It can be reached very easily by boat. Finally, on the southern beaches there are some small boats that serve for transportation for a fee. If you decide to go make sure you take enough food and water with you as you will not find shops on this beach.

Livadh beach is located less than 2 miles (3 km) north of Himara offering fantastic nature, crystal clear waters, tranquility and relaxation for families and camping space. On the beach you’ll find houses with plenty of rooms for rent, as well as small tavens to enjoy some delicious southern Albanian food. This semi-secret little beach is one of the real gems of the Albanian coast and as of yet completely untouched or spoiled by mass tourism. Llaman beach is located about 5 minutes away from Himara and is the liveliest destination for young people even though it is a small bay. During the summer months Llamani is synonymous with the 24/7 party days (or nights).

Porto Palermo is a beautiful and unspoiled bay in the Albanian Riviera, located between the villages of Himara and Qeparo. It is mostly known for Ali Pasha’s Porto Palermo Castle, but the bay is also a great place to relax and jump into the crystal clear waters while watching the fishermen at work in the sea. The coastline in Porto Palermo is very rocky, but there are a few small pebbled beaches where you can just walk into the water, without climbing over rocks. There are a few parking places alongside the coastal road where you can stop to enjoy the views, or jump right into the water!

St. Andreas Bay is a tiny several bays coastline with crystal blue water and white pebble, so it is recommended to wear special shoes. The entrance to the water is quite sharp. This beach is suitable for different categories of people, lonely travellers, relaxation getaway lovers , hikers etc. It is almost deserted place even during the high season. St. Andreas Bay coast is free for all. It has no amenities, only nature. In addition to swimming and sunbathing, you can also take part in other activities .

Aquarium Beach (Plazhi Akuariumit) is a very small, hidden and deserted beach in a small bay between the rocks, close to Himara. The beach is a very nice getaway in the middle of nowhere with amazing turqoise water, some rock formations surrounded by a green environment. can be reached by boat or via a hiking path from either Livadhi Beach or Jala Beach. Although we don’t recommend to go there by car, there is a small dirt road that you can take if you have a 4 x 4.

Call it Jale, Jali or Jala – whichever you choose – this certainly is one of the finest little beaches along the Riviera coast. The water here is crystal clear with a vivid azure hue. In fact it is said that this is some of the clearset water on the coast owing to the bay’s currents which makes it perfect for a spot of snorkelling or diving. Beyond the bars and restaurants of the village are olive groves followed by mountains which form a stunning backdrop. It is no surprise that in the old days Jalë was a favourite summer destination of the communist top brass. Indeed the rather austere building located on the hilltop overlooking the beach was once a hotel for government officials and military officers.

Prinos beach is located in an urban area, among the mountains, surrounded by the cliffs.It is a short straight coastline with crystal turquoise water and light pebble, so it is recommended to wear special shoes. The entrance to the water is quite sharp. Their list includes, loungers and umbrellas, beach restaurant, changing rooms, showers, toilets. There is also possible to take different water activities such as catamarans or jet skis. During the season this beach line is supervised by a lifeguard. In addition to swimming and sunbathing, you can also take part in other activities , snorkeling.
