LovaFest first edition – the best weekend to be in Drimadhes

What’s better than a festival? An outdoor festival!

What’s better than a party? An outdoor party!

We just received the invitation to be part of LovaFest 2021, the first edition of the most entertaining festival on one of the most beautiful beaches in Albania. We will share with you a few details about the festival and we will be waiting for your opinion at the end, whether we should go or not.

First things first, what is LovaFest and who organizes it?

LovaFest is a 3-day festival, which will take place on 13th, 14th and 15th of August at Drimadhes beach in southern Albania. There is Free entrance and a variety of sports activities, cycling, hiking, paragliding, scuba diving, paddle boarding and more will be offered for very good prices. But it wouldn’t be called a festival without music, right? Famous Albanian DJ Vin Veli will be one of the performers, as well as DJ Ilir Lipe with summer music to invite you all to the dance.

The festival is organized by the LoveAlbania youth center in continuation of the annual activity for the promotion of Albanian culture and tourism, to conclude with festivities, music and many activities by the sea.

The festival staff will be spread in different places to provide assistance for different sports, but also to make you shine with bodypainting. They also offer an accommodation package at their camp for all three days, for a full seaside festival experience.

These are the four elements of LovaFest:

Air: Be completely free by Paragliding

Water: Live the sea by scuba diving, kite surfing, kayaking, paddle & sailing

Earth: Explore the land by hiking, mountain biking, cultural visit, yoga & offroad tours

Fire: Music heat under the rhythms of 6 DJs.

Guess who will be the 5th element of the festival? YOU!

Activities are conducted by a professional guide in complete safety.

Have you ever been to Drimadhes Beach?

Imagine crystal clear waters, high mountains and a celebration that continues non stop day and night. Drimadhes is already the Albanian Ibiza of seaside holidays. The beach is divided into two parts by a stone excavated by water and wind: on one side it is composed of pebbles, on the other it is all of fine sand. It is made of fine gravel and is 2 kilometers long and up to 50 meters wide. This place is easy to reach with your vehicle you and you can park beside the road directly on the beach. When going to swim you have a very nice water entry and you can start swimming almost immediately. Accommodation is also available directly at the beach mostly in the form of apartments, rooms and hotels, some resorts are also here present. And if you like to camp, you even have this option available here.

What do you think so far?

Will you join me in LovaFest this August?

If yes, see you there!
