The village of Rehovë has approximately 460 inhabitants and is part of the Administrative Unit Vithkuq, Municipality of Korçë. It has great historical, architectural and urban values, thanks to what has been declared as, “Historic Protected Area”. It is located 114 km away from Tirana and 43 km away from Korça.
Rehova lies at the foot of Gramoz mountain.
Key attractions include:
-Cataracts (waterfalls) above the village, on the mountain of Gramoz;
-St. Peter is another natural destination about 1km above the village;
-The Church of St. Kolli in the center of the village and the Church of St. George near the village cemetery.
The main economic activity is livestock (goats and sheep), meat trade, milk processing and trade of its by-products. At the same time, recent developments in tourism have provided new opportunities for Rehova, has created employment opportunities for some residents but still far from expectations, as there is no proper study of how tourism will develop in this area.
