The water of the Shegan spring comes from a karstic chimney with a depth of about 22 – 28 m and a width of 3-5 m. They have clean and cold water, which comes from the karst waters of the Western Alps of Albania. The current explorations have reached up to 80 m in length of the road made by the waters of this spring. Next is a collapsed cave that hinders exploration.

There are fish and other living things in their waters. The resources create a very attractive environment with scientific (hydrological, speleological, geomorphological), didactic, aesthetic and tourist values. “Syri i Sheganit” emerges from the cracks of limestone rocks near Lake Shkodra. Residents living in the area use this place to fish, as the only form of livelihood. It is precisely these residents who, with their work and will, are gradually maintaining and developing this area.
