The 2024 edition of the traditional festival “Logu i Bjeshkëve” has once again brought to life the rich cultural heritage of Albania, drawing thousands of visitors to the natural amphitheater in the Predelec Pass.

This annual event, held in the Great Highlands of Kelmend, is a vibrant celebration of the region’s unique traditions, with a particular focus on the Xhubleta—a traditional Albanian garment now under the protection of UNESCO.
The Xhubleta, an intricately designed costume, is more than just clothing; it is a symbol of the enduring legacy of the Illyrian civilization and the broader Albanian culture. Its patterns and designs, passed down through generations, carry deep symbolic meanings—many of which remain enigmatic even today.
