Korça is one of the few cities that you can enjoy in every season, however let’ s focus in August.
Every August, starting on the 13th till the 17th, in the bus terminal, Korçë transforms into Albania’s beer capital. The Beer Festival draws thousands of visitors from across the country and beyond. Entry is free, so you can enjoy the lively atmosphere without worrying about a ticket. If you prefer a seat in the main tables zone, you’ll need to reserve in advance via the festival’s Instagram page @festaebirreskorce.
Korçë has a long brewing story, led by Birra Korça, the town’s historic brewery.
The festival highlights that tradition, while introducing new craft labels and regional flavors.
It also brings music, food, and visitors into the old bazaar and nearby streets.
The lineup is packed with big names. On August 13th, expect performances from Juliana Pasha, Giorgos Tsalikis, and Nora Istrefi. August 14th brings Kida, Soni Malaj, Gena, Magic 4, and Niko DJ. On August 15th, the stage lights up with Young Zerka, Capital T, Vedat Ademi, and Devis Xherahu. August 16th features Alban Skenderaj, Triantafillos, and Vesa Luma. The festival closes on August 17th with Fifi, NRG Band, Anxhela Peristeri, and Aurel Thellimi.
While beer is the star, the festival is about much more. Local breweries showcase their craft alongside well-known international brands. You’ll find street food stalls serving traditional Korçare dishes, grilled meats, and sweet treats. The mix of flavors pairs perfectly with an ice-cold beer in hand.
The Korçë Beer Festival is one of the city’s busiest events of the year, so planning ahead is key. Arrive early if you’re not reserving a table to find a good standing spot near the stage. Bring cash for food and drinks, as card payments are not available everywhere or not at all. And most importantly, come ready to enjoy four nights of music, food, and the best beer in Albania.
