Number 2 among the highest mountains in Albania is Jezerca. It is located on the border between the Shkodra and Tropoja districts (between the upper course of the Valbona River in the east and the Thethi valley in the west). Meanwhile, it also holds a record, it is the highest peak of the Albanian Alps with a height of 8838 ft (2694 meters) and the fourth highest peak of Albania after those of Korab.
